Zapier vs IFTTT on price
IFTTT doesn't charge by runs: its plans cap how many Applets you have (2 free, 20 on Pro at $2.99 a month billed yearly, unlimited on Pro+ at $8.99), and its Free plan states “Unlimited Applet runs”. Zapier charges by tasks: 2,000 runs a month of 2 action steps cost $89 a month (Professional, billed yearly).
IFTTT plans
| Plan | Applets | Billed yearly, a month | Billed monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 2 | Free | Free |
| Pro | 20 | $2.99 | $4.99 |
| Pro+ | Unlimited | $8.99 | $14.99 |
Zapier for the same work
| Runs a month, 2 action steps each | Zapier, billed yearly |
|---|---|
| 500 | $39 Professional |
| 2,000 | $89 Professional |
| 10,000 | $189 Professional |
Zapier counts each action step as a task and doesn't charge for the trigger. “–”: no published plan covers it. Before taxes.
IFTTT prices its plans by the number of Applets, not by how often they run, while Zapier's bill grows with every task. Multi-action Applets need IFTTT Pro or Pro+.
