Zapier cost calculator
Zapier bills one task per successful action step, so a Zap's cost is its runs times its action steps, rounded up to the next task tier. A Zap with 3 action steps that runs 1,000 times a month uses 3,000 tasks: $133.50 a month on Professional's 5,000-task tier, or $89 billed yearly. That is $0.13 a run.

How much does a Zapier task cost?
From $0.04 a task on the smallest Professional tier (750 tasks for $29.99) down to $0.00255 on the largest (2,000,000 tasks for $5,099), with monthly billing. Billed yearly: $0.0267 to $0.00169. You pay for the whole tier, so tasks you don't use raise the real price per task. Every tier is on Zapier pricing.
How much does a Zap cost per run?
Each action step that succeeds is one task, so a run costs its action steps times your plan's price per task. “When Zapier performs an action successfully, it counts as a task. Each successful action in a Zap counts as a separate task.” The trigger is free: “Zap triggers never use tasks.” So are built-in tools: “Formatter, Paths, Filters, Delay, Looping, Sub-Zaps, Digests, Zapier Manager, Storage, Tables, and Forms; these steps never use tasks.”
What happens when you go over your task limit?
On a paid plan, Zapier switches to pay-per-task billing: “If you exceed your plan's task limit, you'll automatically switch to pay-per-task billing for the remainder of your pay period, so your Zap workflows stay on.” What that costs isn't published: “Your pay-per-task rate depends on your plan and billing cycle type. Check your Billing settings for the exact rate.” It has a ceiling: “Zap workflows will stop running if your account reaches the maximum pay-per-task usage amount. This is set at 3 times your plan's task limit, which includes your plan allocation and optional pay-per-task usage.” On the free plan, Zaps are held instead (Zapier free plan limits).
