IFTTT Pro vs Pro+: what's the difference?

Pro, in IFTTT's words: “20 Applets”, “Fastest Applet speeds”, “Multi-action Applets”, “Webhooks”. Pro+: “Unlimited Applets”, “Everything in Pro”, “AI services”, “Connect multiple accounts”, “Use queries and filter code”.

Published Applets carry a badge for the plan they need: “Pro Applets may include multiple Actions, use a Trigger or Action from a service that requires a Pro subscription, or both.” and “If an Applet uses filter code, Queries, or a service that is only available on the Pro+ tier, it will be considered a Pro+ Applet.”

Some services also have daily limits by plan: IFTTT's email service sends 30 emails a day on Free and 750 on Pro and Pro+, and its AI services allow 200 queries a day, on Pro+ only.

What counts toward the Applet limit?

Every Applet you have, on or off: “Any Applet listed in the All tab counts toward your plan’s Applet limit. If you no longer need an Applet you can archive or delete it at which point it will no longer count towards the limit.” Archived Applets you made yourself can be restored later. Pro+ has no limit.

How often do IFTTT Applets run?

As often as their trigger fires: IFTTT's plans limit Applets, not runs, and the free plan's card lists “Unlimited Applet runs”. What the plan changes is how quickly a polling trigger notices new data: “These trigger checks occur every 5 minutes for Pro and Pro+ users, and every hour for Free users.”
