For AI agent work: Gumloop and Lindy
Relay included AI credits: “AI credits power AI steps in Relay.app. They give you access to the top models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, and others without needing to set up dedicated accounts through those providers. Every Relay.app plan comes free AI credits that refresh every month.” If your Relay workflows were mostly AI steps, the platforms built around AI agents are the closer fit, but they bill in credits whose use depends on the model and the job, so they can't be priced per run like the tables above.
- Gumloop: Pro is $37 a month for 20,000 credits, after a 14-day free trial. A credit is $0.005 of the agent's model, tool and compute cost, and Gumloop adds an 8% orchestration fee. “Agent credit costs are variable. The same agent might cost 2 credits for a quick question and 200 for a deep research task.” Its own worked example comes to 459 credits, so Pro covers 43 such runs a month; past 20,000, credits cost $0.005 each.
- Lindy: per user a month, Plus $29.99 for 3,000 credits, Pro $99.99 for 15,000 and Max $199.99 for 35,000, with extra credits at $10 per 1,000. Lindy puts an everyday ask at 2 to 250 credits and deep work at 250 to 1,000, so Plus covers 12 to 1,500 everyday asks a month.
On Zapier, AI is paid in tasks: an AI by Zapier step uses 1 task on a Standard model, 3 on Advanced and 5 on Premium, plus the same again for every tool call, whatever the tokens; Agents, which Zapier is folding into AI by Zapier, is 1,500 activities a month for $50.
